接尾辞 ly の働き 名詞を形容詞に，形容詞を副詞に変える

名詞の friend（友達）に ly をつけると形容詞の friendly（友好的な）となります。形容詞の friendly に更に ly をつけると，副詞の friendlily（友好的に）となります。

この ly のように，ある言葉の後ろにつける言葉のことを接尾辞と言います。

接尾辞 ly には名詞を形容詞に変え，形容詞を副詞に変える働きがあります。
